Overview

Designing and developing a high end marketing site.

Jono Pandolfi crafts elegant, ceramic dinnerware for professional chefs & serious home cooks internationally and throughout the US. Before 2020, Jono Pandolfi strictly sold Business-to-Business (B2B). During the pandemic, they made a shift to include Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) in the structure of their business. This required transitioning to a website that could accommodate both business models and revenue streams.

Approach & Results

The first step in creating a more robust eCommerce site for Jono Pandolfi was moving them from Squarespace to Shopify— streamlining the marketing funnel. Because they now sell to two distinct types of customers, the website was split into two parts: the Home Shop for retail customers and the Pro Shop for professional chefs and restaurants.

Thoughtful and careful design brought these two sides of the business together to create a synergetic site that catered to the needs of the two core audiences.

The product page was built to include an augmented reality viewer, which allows the user to view virtual dinnerware within their space.
